About His Place Community Church

Based in Hastings town centre, our building is a hidden gem. Originally built in 1856 and rebuilt in 1885

The building has always been used as a base for community togetherness, support, and education. We also host Hastings Safe Space an NHS Initiative, and addiction support, groups. Signposting to national and regional organisations is provided, as well as carer support. 

The Community Cafe is open daily and hosts occupational therapy groups, craft groups, and music events on a regular basis. 

His Place is also home to Henry Ward Hall – a Live music and theatre venue  

Our Church welcomes everyone regardless of class, belief, or ethnicity.  Church service is on Sundays, and is open to all, followed by a social get together, with a performance workshop on the first Sunday of the month. His Place Community Church and Centre plays an important role in the daily life of Hastings. His Place is a church, community hub and cafe in the heart of Hastings Town Centre.
