Access to Luke's Lounge 4 stairs/stairlift. Should you wish to block book the entire ground floor, including the two kitchens, this is possible.
The hire fee would reflect the loss of cafe income, and the disruption to community activities.
A refundable deposit is required for all bookings.
Hirer is responsible for their own Public Liability insurance, the Church accepts no responsibilty for accidents resulting from hirer's negligence.
The Community kitchen is available for event and ad-hoc hire, 7 persons max if cooking. Facilities include 2 cookers, fridge, and table seating for 6.
Hire equipment for use off-site: Mobile PA, Go-pack tables, and banqueting chairs.

We have a whole building available for hire 6 days a week.
When required we can rearrange our own non-church activities and re-house in other areas of the building or postpone to aid you with the facilities you require for your hire.
His Place hire for café, hall, training kitchen and our two lounges
are suitable for:
Small meetings.
Discos.
Celebrations or wakes.
Workshops or lectures.
Pop up shops.
Art and photography pop up exhibitions.
Social events.
Charity quiz nights, charitable information evenings and fundraising events.
For larger events, perhaps The Space would suit your needs better.
Weddings: We are not licensed for weddings, but are able to offer wedding blessings. You do not have to be a member of our church to have your blessing here.
FuneralsYou do not have to be a member of our church to have a funeral or a memorial service here.
Rev Chris Sears MBE, undertakes funerals and cremation services. You do not have to attend this church fellowship to ask for his assistance.
One of our administrative team would also be able to offer assistance with designing and printing service sheets, should you require this service. (There is no charge for this service we just ask a donation be made to the Building Fund.)

Parking:
During the day the Priory Street car park is reasonably priced, or a cheaper car park is adjacent to the College next to Hastings Train Station.
After 6pm weekdays the multi story on Priory Street is free. Sundays the charge is £1.20 for the day(at time of writing, please check). If we have events happening on the first floor then our Cambridge Road entrance would be made available as a second entrance route to the booked event.

We are able to help in event planning as we have a working relationship with a group of experienced event management people who freely assist us when required. This is dependent on their commercial bookings.
The hire charges for His Place Community Church building are used to aid the maintenance and upkeep of this Grade 2 listed building.
For other charities and not for profit groups we can do our best to offer an affordable realistic hire charge. You will find us an easy organisation to work with and our hire fees are extremely reasonable.
His Place Community Church Hastings are the owners of the building and are a registered charity.
